RJ Barret‘s season was definitely below expectations. If we compare him with Zion Williamson and Ja Morant, first and second in the draft just before RJ, the future of the shooting guard is still unclear. Barrett had trouble finding consistency in his beginner season. But this was certainly influenced by the chaos in the Knicks: change of manager, change of team president, lack of talent around him, many elements have influenced his season. Despite the considerable difficulties, Barrett has struggled a lot and, at times, seemed to be the best in the Knicks field.
Barrett‘s potential is unquestionable, although for the time being in New York we have seen it at times. Clearly, much has yet to grow. It is to be seen whether he will be able to do it at the Knicks.
