Tom Thibodeau downplay the rumors linking him to Knicks
Tom Thibodeau isn’t exactly trying to get back to the NBA as quickly as possible.
Appearing this week on ESPN, the former Minnesota manager Timberwolves downplayed the rumors linking him to the New York Knicks and other teams.
“It’s just rumors,” said Thibodeau, according to New York Post’s Marc Berman. “And at this time of year, everything is on hold. Normally you would have openings and at the moment there are none. So you don’t want to speculate on what jobs they might open. This is what you have an agent for. Certainly, at some point, he will look for whether there is an opportunity, whether it’s a good game or not”.
