Thibodeau will work to turn the Knicks into a tough and intelligent team
The Knicks have decided to hire Tom Thibodeau to return New York a competitive franchise after literally disastrous seasons. The new Knicks coach spoke to The Post about how the Knicks will play under his leadership:
I want us to be strong, intelligent, we give everything we have. And I think it resonates with New York City. I think when you look at the city, they appreciate the great work, they have expert fans, they will appreciate the games of great effort, they will appreciate a team that plays together and plays for each other and will know it. We want to be a team that is not afraid of getting their hands dirty. I think this appreciates this city and we will try to bring it every evening.
