Barton could be an option for the Knicks in a trade with Randle
Will Barton was one of the most underrated players in the league, he is a striker who can join and help any team he joins. With the emergence of novice Michael Porter Jr., the Nuggets may actually be better served to get away from Barton.
Will Barton on the Knicks offers the team an excellent three-point shooter, a player who can ease the attack in a pinch and provide a great defense. It would be perfect for a Knicks team that was one of the worst shootings and defensive teams in the league last season.
More importantly, veteran Barton would have been an exceptional mentor for the young attackers on the Knicks roster. Making RJ Barrett and young Kevin Knox known by Will Barton could be important to accelerate the development of the couple.
