The New York Governor Cuomo urges New York teams to prepare for the resumption of activities
Professional sports are starting to return. During his daily speech, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said professional sports could use the state to begin their reopening and restart process.
According to Newsdays’ Tim Healy, Cuomo has given the green light despite New York not yet starting the first phase of their regular reopening plan.
“Andrew Cuomo has just given professional sports a thumbs up in New York, although New York City and all states of the downstate are still trying to reach Phase 1 of the reopening,” he tweeted. “‘We are a ready, willing and capable partner,” said Cuomo of New York state. “
