Landry Shamet of the Los Angeles Clippers has tested positive for the coronavirus and will therefore have to skip the departure for Orlando and the team’s Walt Disney World Resort campus. The player will have to be quarantined and wait for the green light of the doctors before he can reach his teammates.
The 22 teams that will participate in the resumption of the season will move to Orlando between 7 and 9 July and after a period of 24-48 hours of isolation and testing they will be able to start group training. To date 28, before departure, NBA players have tested positive for the buffer for the Sars-CoV2 virus.
The NBA preseason before the start of the regular mini season will start on July 22 and last until 28, the first official two-ball from July 30.
If there are no problems, Landry Shamet will be able to reach his teammates even before the start of the regular season, the Clippers will start from the second position in the Western Conference with 5.5 games of detachment from the Los Angeles Lakers and of course with the qualification for the playoffs already in their pockets.
