Rose is certainly open to either dealing Randle or not executing his contract option
New York Knicks president Leon Rose is open to dealing with Julius Randle, despite Randle being a former client when Rose was a gambling agent. According to Marc Berman of the New York Post, Rose would also be willing to lose Randle’s contract after next season, although Randle has a $ 4MM partial guarantee on his $ 19.8MM salary for the 2021/22 season. Before Rose took over, the Knicks had argued with Charlotte before the February commercial deadline involving Randle, who reportedly shocked some teammates this season with his dominant style.
