Bryant and Zanin played for rival high schools in the Philadelphia area
Frank Zanin took over the New Knicks front office against the late Kobe Bryant when the two attended rival high schools in the Philadelphia area and Bryant once went out in support of Zanin’s future as an NBA executive.

At the time of Bryant’s tweet, Zanin was a GM assistant with the Nets.
Later, Zanin moved to the Oklahoma City Thunder, where he had worked as a scout before joining the Knicks.
