Jrue Holiday is on the New York Knicks list. There is a very real possibility that the Pelicans will choose to go to their star guard this summer considering that he still has one year of contract before he can reach the free agency and that the team will likely sign Brandon Ingram again at the maximum contract.
Additionally, with the emergence of Zion Williamson, it offers pelicans a little more leeway as they attempt to build the team around their dominant area. For the Knicks, adding a player like Holiday makes a lot of sense.
Holiday is a player who can play the point guard position and could easily be a resource in the defense zone near RJ Barrett. Even if the Knicks added a guard point in the draft, Holiday would give this team incredible depth in the backcourt and could also line up three guard formations considering that Holiday is one of the league’s best defenders.
