According to Kendrick Perkins, it will take a lot of faith to save the New York franchise
Former NBA center Kendrick Perkins has no doubts: the New York Knicks will need a lot of faith to save the franchise.
In Wednesday’s episode of The Jump on ESPN, Perkins stated that “Jesus Christ cannot save this organization” when he discussed the possibility of the Knicks trying to trade for a marquee player in the future.
Perkins’ words were directed at what Ian Begley of SNY previously stated who reported some within the Knicks organization who believe they are “incredibly well positioned” to make a deal for a discontented star if and when one becomes available.
