Carmelo Anthony was once more crucial for the Portland Trail Blazers. “Melo” made some important shots down the stretch to help the Blazers overcome the Rockets.
Fellow teammate and All-Star Damian Lillard praised Carmelo Anthony’s for being a perfectionist, while he took a shot on the people that they have been disrespectful to him.
“He’s all about the team. He understands what we need from him in certain situations,” Damian Lillard said, per USA Today. “He knows how the game is going. He knows how to put himself in place to help the team. It’s obvious for somebody like me that pays attention to everything. I find it real funny and disrespectful how people speak on him. He’s a Hall-of-Famer.”
Anthony finished the game against the Houston Rockets with 15 points, 11 rebounds and 2 steals to help the Blazers close the gap between them (31-38) and the 8th seeded Memphis Grizzlies (32-36).
