A target for the New York Knicks of the future could be CJ McCollum. The guard of Portland Trail Blazer is one of the best in the league. The Knicks can take McCollum seriously if Portland decides to end the experiment around McCollum himself and Damian Lillard.
McCollum is today one of the strongest scorers in the NBA. He averages 20 points per game in each of the past five seasons and has compiled a career cut line of .455 / .397 / .827. For the Knicks, McCollum would offer a marker around which a team-oriented offense could have been built.
It is clear that McCollum is not the Knicks’ first target, but it certainly could be an added value for the New York franchise.
